Dr. Dominick Gulli Copy
Doctor of Psychology
I began providing services to individuals over 35 years ago. My experience and training is extensive and varied and include inpatient and outpatient settings, private-practice, and residential and correctional settings. I have held numerous key “director” positions in the counseling arena. My experience includes dealing with trauma, abuse issues, poly-substance abuse, severe mental health issues, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, couples issues, military issues, anger resolution, and self-improvement. I am also a community provider of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing services following traumatic incidents. I retired from the Army after over 25 years of honorable service.
I provide a relaxed, yet respectful environment that encourages self-determination and empowerment. My goal-oriented counseling approach focuses on client strengths, and understanding the environmental issues that either support or hinder the client reaching personal goals. The development of client’s spirituality (as defined by the client) is supported. The initial visit is utilized as an opportunity to get to know one another. Additionally, a thorough client history is obtained as well as discussion around client goals and how those goals will be achieved. There is no charge for the initial visit if the client subsequently chooses not to proceed with therapy.
The handicapped-accessible office is conveniently located off several main roads in Brandon, Florida. All sessions are by appointment only and both evening and weekend sessions are available. Referral services include psychiatric medication management if needed.

For the last 9 years it has been my privilege to serve the military population working exclusively with individuals, couples, and children. I have been an adjunct professor at Hillsborough Community College for over 14 years where I provide clinical supervision to students as well as teach Clinical Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and other related courses.
