There are many benefits of groups. For example, hearing from others with similar issues helps you see that you’re not alone in having personal life challenges. All of our groups are designed to allow participants an opportunity to interact freely and safely with one another.
The group therapy environment provides a safe place to experiment with alternative ways of treating yourself and others that may be more satisfying. All of our groups have a minimum size of 6 people and a maximum size of 10.
We offer two types of Group Therapy – psycho-educational and counseling.
A psycho-educational group focuses on identifying issues and helping participants implement more effective coping strategies. In a counseling group, members listen to each other and openly provide each other feedback while exploring deeply personal issues.
